Single wrought iron wall tie with spearhead patress plate and fixing arm.

Reclaimed cast iron with a traditional spearhead design that forms the external patress plate. This decorative plate would have sat on the face of the masonry while the fixing arm anchored back into the structure.

The piece shows genuine age and surface patina from long service within brickwork. The fixing arm remains intact.

Wall ties of this type were used to secure internal timbers or floor joists to external walls, helping stabilise the building over time.

Suitable for period restoration work or for use as an architectural feature.
