A stunning Regency period sarcophagus shaped mahogany wine cooler or cellarette, standing on impressive lions paw feet with hidden sunken brass castors beneath. A fielded tapered panel to the front face is surrounded by the same carved beading that adorns the lid which is also decorated with interspersed foliate details. The interior is divided into 5 sections, there is evidence of later repairs and internal staining from previous bottle storage, please use the listing images as reference to the condition.
